THE REAL ILLUSION - OLOGRAPHICS VISIONS

The binomial “Art & Science” has crossed all centuries despite of several attempts to dissociate it, thanks to its philosophical reasons besides the pragmatic ones. Art and science indeed are two manifestations of knowledge which through different ways carry useful information to improve human life, because knowledge helps man to discover the truth. Art and science are a vehicles of changing expecially together, to reach a right balance between aesthetics and learning, beauty and truth, vision and cognition. An emblematic example of this integration is holography: indeed thanks to some special systems of vision obtained through the most current LCD monitors, HD film clips and computer graphic realizations together with 3D programs it’s possible to make you perceive two-dimensional images as supplied of depth. A particular thanks to eng. Vincenzo Fiasconaro of ENEA, Unità Tecnico-Scientifica Tecnologie Fisiche Avanzate di  Frascati, for his precious collaboration.  The current sectors of interest of the foundation are:

ICT (Information and Communication Tecnology)

To observe an object or an event doesn’t mean to have it in front of or to look at it only with the eyes. We can say that the holography – photographic representation of all - creates a new noetic conception and going over the limits of time and space, makes the observation of an object or an event an emotional experience which becomes cognitive. The emotions take form and a take a new dimension free by the conditionings of becoming. The holography starts like a vision and becomes concept, creates a revolution in the rules of perception, of communication and enjoying in an amazing perceptive game. This is, in the age of global communication, the new frontier of communicating.

Not even with characters, sound or flatten images but three-dimensional forms materialized in sophisticated 3D screens and which can travel on-line all over the world. Thanks to the new technologies, flat communication became dynamic and inside it real and virtual are mixed. Holographic communication means spread a new thinking system, where the limit between real and virtual is signed by the knowledge and not by the vision.

Art

Create an holographic work of art means give a new dimension to the artistic forms, where the contents are easily understood and go through the cultural barriers since perceived and comprehensive to everyone.

Marketing

The artistic field is not the only one where the holography finds space and application: in many fields the holographic technology is a big opportunity to innovation, first of all the marketing. The types of the holographic realization are various , from the optic theatres until the fantastic animated realizations in computer graphics, from the thinking avatar until the interactive installations, using always the best optic and graphics technologies in their continuous progress.

Time and Perception

The main part of holographic thought is the reflection on time and perception. The holographic technologies upsets the perceptive rules and frees time from becoming. The perspective image is limitated because it can shows only a moment of the perception , as well as in a photographic picture the time is fixed by the objective in a exact moment. The holography in all its parts, representing a turning-point to give a new vision, over time and perspective limitations.
